High Pressure Zones, Sleep and Our Health
Most of the people who come to the clinic have problems with sleep. They habitually sleep after midnight usually around 2:00 in the morning.
Having come into the clinic with some condition perhaps digestive problems, skin conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes or some other condition, we will generally come across some high pressure zones in their lives. These zones contain significant biological stress because of disharmony of some sort. The high pressure zone could be a continuous dietary overindulgence, stressful work or relationships, ongoing conflict in their lives, insomnia, an imbalanced and unhealthy relationship with food, unresolved trauma, the breakdown in elimination – constipation, very little urination or inability to sweat –, a dislike of water, etc. Usually it becomes relatively easy for them to trace the development of their condition and understand how their behaviour has brought about the disfunction that now besets them. They grasp that without addressing these ongoing high pressures zones there can be no lasting resolution of their ill health. Then can begin the journey to their taking responsibility for their own health and understanding what makes them healthy or unwell. The most difficult of the high pressure zones to address in my experience has been that of addressing perverted sleep patterns.
